I’ve been taking my car to Hawaii Vintage Motors for the past few weeks for several repairs, including a coolant leak, drive belt, oil separator, cabin filters, and replacing the rear hatch latch on my 2013 Volkswagen Tiguan. Ken has been fantastic every step of the way. He fixed my coolant leak the same day I brought it in, his prices have been very fair, and he takes the time to explain what actually needs to be done without any pressure or upselling. What really stood out to me was that after one repair, he realized a part they had originally planned to use wasn’t actually needed. He reduced the cost of the job after the fact and put what I already paid towards another job he was doing for me. That level of honesty and integrity is rare. As a woman, going to an auto shop can sometimes feel intimidating because you worry about being taken advantage of. I’ve never felt that way here. Ken has always been respectful, kind, and genuinely helpful. I’m so grateful I found Hawaii Vintage Motors and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for an honest, trustworthy mechanic.

These gents are awesome! During a crazy move of the shop they helped me get some parts for my e30 this crashed door… not no more! Thank you Ken for awesome communication and service.

Ken and his team know BMWs better than anyone else, full stop. They've always done amazing work on our 1989 E30, at this point they've worked on just about every inch of it. There's a difference between a competent professional and a true master craftsman, and these guys are the latter. You can't find better.

Ken has been servicing my E30 for the better part of a decade. And I trust no one else with my car. Even after moving the car to the mainland I’d always call him to double check work any other mechanic ever did. Without question an invaluable source of knowledge and worth every penny.

Ken & the guys took care of my E46’s catastrophic subframe mount failure (video & photos). They did a great job, reinforced it, and gave good advice on other collateral repairs. They’re the only guys on island who can do this work, trust me I called everyone else! Highly recommend for BMWs!
